Got mine at PAX East this year and wore it every day for over a month! Then I got into a car crash and now it's got airbag dust stains haha, but I love it so much that I'm going to dye the whole thing back to a pure black just to be able to wear it again!!! 10/10, genuinely the best hoodie I've ever had the privilege to wear. Full disclosure I received a free review copy of the archer zip up hoodie but this is not a paid review. This is my second hoodie from Patch Notes Apparel and the workmanship and build quality remains no less than stellar. This is not hype or hyperbole. The creativity in design, the thoughtfulness surrounding utility, and fun features like class specific attributes and the RPG ports make this hoodie a joy to wear. Also for whatever reason these are some of the best feeling zippers I've ever had the pleasure of zipping. Patch Notes apparel continues to impress.
Adjustable waist is a lovely feature i adore. Its tight and loose it the right areas, and the zipper for extra mobility is nice in the right arm. The pocket holds just enough and I can't wait to get more snaps! The slit on the back just under the hood for ventilation is a nice touch, and it gives more for a more muscular person (I'll get there haha).

I absolutely adore my hoodie. Its a little snug in the middle for a 4x but the "slut zipper" as I call the side zip, because its a cheeky lil zip from the bottom to just under my chest, honestly makes the snug fit not so bad. I ordered it at the end of the 26% off sale and it arrived just in time for the winter storm to hit my city, which impeccable shipping time (though probably helps it was only going one state over). The adjustable cowl means I don't have to keep track of a scarf and I especially appreciate that when its attached to my outer shoulder it lays down against my chest and out of the way. I hope these are the hoodies that bring back jackets with thumbholes. I couldn't ever afford such as a kid and now I feel just so much joy every time I slip my thumbs through. The thick material keeps me warm, even when facing a windchill in the negatives, while still having full range of motion you don't get with other jackets if similar warmth. If I have one complaint, outside of it being snug in the torso for a 4x, it's that the pockets could maybe use 2 closures a piece instead of one in the middle. Otherwise? Amazing job. 10/10. I'm so glad this company exists and that you partnered with Bards of New York so I learned about it. I've recommended you to so many people in my life and I can't wait to see what comes next, and to get some snaps to adorn my hoodie with.
The fabric is lovely and heavy duty, and I love all of the pockets! The sleeve pocket will be great for holding my keys while I'm walking my dog. The snaps are cute and look great!
Love the hoodie, it’s thick but it still allows full range of movement and airflow. The pocket is smaller than I expected but still just large enough to fit my phone which is all I was really looking for. I love how adjustable the fit is. I was in between sizes based on the chart, but I decided to size down and it fits perfectly. I sized up for the gloves and they are snug. This will be my go-to hoodie for running.
Full disclosure, Patch Notes Apparel sent me this hoodie for free to review but wow, I really do love it. This has quickly become my favorite hoodie. The hood sits perfectly around my head and neck. It's loose but doesn't block my vision or fall off by itself. The built in scarf is adjustable for different looks and feels. The build quality is excellent across the board.
These snaps are such a great touch to the Patch Notes line! Being able to customize my clothing with a simple snap is such a quick but ingenious way to make it truly *mine.* Pieces are also nice and sturdy, no scuffs here!

It looks even better then I thought it would , I haven't put it on my jacket yet cause they're going to be stocking stuffers . But the design the details on all of it . Gorgeous!!
Looks amazing and seems very durable in it's construction. It will be perfect during colder weather. And the string decorations is so cool! Also, it has huge pockets! Just don't get something too tight since it's not stretchy.
The hoodie is very confortable and looks very durable. My favorite so far! I'm excited to have to snaps to put on it! I got confused with the sizing chart so I had to get a L instead but the team made it very easy to do the exchange.
It was a gift from my friend, it fits pretty well, and is comfy, id probably wear it more in the weather as it is pretty warm too. Just waiting for the clip ons for the shoulder. Will look good with some arrow in the quiver. Will wear it for my next d&d session involving my Ranger.
I love how the materials feel! I also like how it’s so easy to put on when you can snap open the buttons on the side. The only concern I have is the gap in the chest area when I fully zip the top (as someone with a flat chest)
My new favorite thing to wear with my favorite adventuring dog. I’ve been following this brand since before their kickstarter even launched and I’m so glad I stuck it out long enough to get some of their hoodies! My favorite is the Rogue Cropped Hoodie! I’m 5 foot, weigh about 180lbs with 45 inch bust, 36.5 inch waist and got a 2xl but think I honestly could have sized down. It still fits and I’ve worn it several times now, but it’s looser than I typically like my cropped hoodies to be, the sleeves a little long and baggy, and the bust of this hoodie is stretchier than I realized. The fabric quality is phenomenal though! Super thick and clearly well made and very comfortable. The thickness allows for it to still add some warmth even though it is cropped. I wore it on a semi-chilly day for 2 hours and it was great even with the extra exposed skin! Highly recommend any one of these hoodies but the rogue is definitely my favorite and I feel super confident wearing it
Probably the best hoodie I have now! Heavy for the cold and the shoulder pad and arm guards aren’t too flashy which is great! I put the chest strap like a back strap to make it like a holster for a sword and shield like a warrior but could always switch it up! Hoping there’s a color variant or a trim color in the future but I almost never want to take it off; the snaps are gonna make it look better! Would recommend it to anybody!
I like my rogue sweater more for sure, though this one is still good. It's thick fabric feels sturdy and durable, but that definitively reflects in how the fabric drapes, which isn't a bad thing, but is something to make sure you pay attention to when you buy it! I think it's fun, but is a much box-ier look eith the way it drapes!
I was a bit nervous about sizing, so I erred on the side of caution, but I don't think I needed to. It fits well, is comfortable and super cute! The fabric doesn't feel cheap or thin, it's a great, fun addition to my wardrobe that is totally different from.anything else that I own!

It's very soft and comfortable
I chose the Martialist hoodie because of its unique design and versatility for different training conditions. I love that I can go totally sleeveless or wear the arm sleeves. The sizing is a bit tricky because of my proportions. I went with a medium because I have a fuller chest. But I'm thinner in th waist, so there's a bit of gaping in the sides. But it's not terrible. Also, I don't know if my torso is long, but it does come up a bit higher on my waist than I expected. If I wear a tank top underneath (since the sides are open) it will stick out at the bottom unless I tuck it into my pants. All in all, though, I really like it.

I got my sorcerer hoodie not too long ago and I wanted to leave some of my honest thoughts because this thing is awesome first, it arrived way earlier than I thought it would, as in 3-4 days early. it was insane how fast it came in. second, this is probably one of the most comfiest hoodies i've ever had! it's super warm and I love wearing it whenever i'm just lounging around the house or even going out on a windy day! last, this is built to LAST. after opening it i already knew this fabric was strong. while yes people who like to roll up their sleeves will struggle, that's honestly not a downside to me. if this is meant to be for modern cosplay or to keep you warm, then there is no reason to bring the sleeves up. besides, they come up just enough to wash my hands LOL i'm very happy to have gotten this and i'm very excited to see what else comes next. if you like hoodies over zip ups (which i personally do), definitely pick up THIS hoodie!
Very comfortable, the top is a different material then the sleeves which in my opinion is nice , there is a seam that is at a weird place on the back cause of it ,but after 2 wears I don't notice it any more . I got a size smaller then what I normally wear , but mainly depends on what sleeves you like ,if you like tight sleeves it's nice but if you want baggy sleeve not a recommended item , cause mine are snug and great until washing my hands , can't roll up sleeves or pull up just a little . And only 2 pockets on left side , so left handed people ,be aware , thin fabric on bust area so (( •)(•)) may show . NO TUMBLE DRYING !! Very good material and seems work 😆😁
(I leave overly detailed reviews because I want to help people make the best informed decisions on their purchase, especially at this cost - TLDR at the end if you don't want to read an essay lol.) Very excited to finally have my rogue hoodie after supporting the kickstarter! They continuously emphasized their commitment to quality and they were not exaggerating, you can feel and see the top tier quality of the fabric, the stitching, and all the other little details. In a world of sweatshop fast fashion, it is extremely refreshing to see (and feel). The fit is very flattering, the fabric is thick and sturdy, the hood is spacious, I adore the two different "styles" (zipped up vs laid open), and, even without the little "snaps" to put on them, the shoulder buttons still look cool - or at least aren't overly distracting. My favorite part of the construction, though, is not having that stupid fuzzy material on the inside that immediately starts pilling and separating as soon as you wash it! I don't think I've ever met a hoodie without that feature, and I am PUMPED that they've avoided that while still maintaining a lovely silky-soft fabric for skin contact. Which is especially good for a hoodie that seems built to be worn against your skin and thus will require more washing. The cons — the biggest one for me is the stiff sleeves. They are a stiffer material than the jersey-knit torso, and the wrists are even stiffer — both fabrics still have a little stretch, but the weight and thickness of them give me a constricted feeling especially around the wrists. (But also maybe I'm just too autistic lol). Second is the snug fit, particularly in the sleeves and armpits. I typically buy clothing in medium, which tend to be comfortably loose on me, so I was worried about getting a medium for a hoodie meant to be snug, but boy am I glad I didn't size down. I'd order a size up if you plan on wearing this over another sleeved article, and definitely measure yourself and compare to the size chart. The bust/torso, on the other hand, is in fact rather loose and very stretchy, so if you have a big bust I wouldn't be toooo concerned about that area fitting, just be aware (as one commenter pointed out) it will be more like a "bra" than a crop-top. But I don't think that would be detrimental to function or appearance, it just may be an issue for you if you don't like showing too much of your stomach. (For reference, I am 5'3" with a bust measurement of 34" and waist of 28", wearing a size medium in the video.) If you don't wear this over something else and have sensory issues, be aware that the label at the back is a bit scratchy — it's made of a very soft material that feels like silk, but the corners still drive me a bit crazy after a few minutes. I'm hoping they'll soften as it gets worn and washed. I wish they had gone a zero label route as many tshirts do nowadays, especially with a hoodie that kind of forces you to wear it against your skin. Third, the bust rides up when you lift your arms over your head, and even when you don't do that if you have a large bust it seems to favor riding up and bunching under there after a while. Lastly, and this isn't the hoodie itself, but the website only lets you leave either a video OR pictures with your review — you cannot leave both. That seems a bit silly. I ended up leaving a video because there aren't too many of those at this point and I think it's important for people to see the style and fit in action, but I would have liked to leave pictures too because I got some better close ups of the details than I could in a video. TLDR; The good: amazing quality, thick fabric, spacious hood, attractive details, flattering fit/shape, no "fuzzy" inside that pills after a single wash, two different style options that are equally cool, functional, and flattering. The bad: snug fit in the sleeve/wrist areas (size up if you are planning to wear this over other clothes especially if they have sleeves), bust rides up a bit, sewn-in label can be sliiiightly scratchy / a small sensory issue. (Also, bonus con, the website wouldn't let me attach both a video and pictures to my review ☹️). For reference, I am 5'3" with a bust of 34 and waist of 28, wearing a size medium in the video.
I love it. I think personally this is the best one- it has a cute look to it and the most magical elements added. Like the glowing cute crystals is the best touch. It’s thick and a good length. So cozy. Kinda thick to put on over head so a little hard to pull on and off especially because it’s longer. I just wish the thumb holes were a little bigger because they cut off circulation a little because of the thick material. I over all love it.
I ordered this hoodie for my older son. He is on the spectrum and is very tactilely sensitive so the fact that he is not only excited about how it looks but ADORES how it feels is fantastic! He loves the deep hood and extra pocket as well as the thumb holes in the sleeves. This is now his go-to comfort wear and he’s so excited to show his friends at D&D club his new gear!
I ordered this for my younger son and he is THRILLED with it! He’s so impressed with the built in quiver and the way it’s padded in specific areas. He’s can’t wait to wear it to school (without the arrows) and to the next game night with friends!

I am so impressed with the quality of this hoodie! I was worried that a medium would be too big (and it might be slightly) but unlike other “too big” garment I order that look ridiculous this one still looks great! It’s very comfortable and not as “showy” as I expected so as a modest human I can still enjoy wearing it without feeling too scandalous!
